#Rapid Comedy : Tag with David

The Humour Club of ShrimathiDevkunvarNanalal Bhatt Vaishnav College for Women organized an engaging and laughter-filled event titled “Rapid Comedy: Tag with David”on 18/12/2024 at seminar hall 1. The program aimed to provide a refreshing and entertaining session for the students while showcasing the power of humor in connecting people and spreading positivity.Chief Guests were Mr. Nesan David and Mr. Vijay. The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Mr. Nesan David, a renowned stand-up comedian known for his impeccable wit, observational comedy, and ability to captivate audiences with relatable humor. With years of experience in the field of comedy, Mr. Nesan has performed across various platforms, making people laugh through his insightful and entertaining narratives. He has done more than 100 College Shows & 50 Sold out Public shows in more than 10 Cities in India. The session opened with e Humour Club Banner Launching by Mr. David Nesan .During the session, Mr. Nesan David delighted the audience with a live stand-up comedy performance that had everyone in splits. His relatable humor and quick improvisation left a lasting impression.Students and faculty engaged in an interactive Q&A with Mr. Nesan.The seminar hall resonated with laughter and joy throughout the event. Participants appreciated the effort taken by the Humour Club in organizing such a unique and refreshing program.

To teach students about the significance of the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) and its role in guaranteeing product quality and safety, the Humour Club of SDNB Vaishnav College collaborated with the Standards (BIS) club to organise a street play on February 7, 2025. To increase awareness of the importance of BIS certification in common products, the event was organised. Students from the Humour Club staged the street play, which skillfully combined humour and information to keep the audience interested. The street play illustrated how using uncertified products can be dangerous and how BIS standards protect customers through humorous conversations and realistic scenes. The street play’s characters, who represented typical purchasers and vendors, underlined the significance of checking.

Shrimathi Devkumar Nanalal Bhatt Vaishnav College for Women’s Humor Club in association with Ability to Access Cell conducted a Guest lecture on Nagaichuvaiye Nalla Suvai by Dr. Mu Muthuvelu on 06.02.25 in the Seminar Hall 1 at 11.30. 1.00 PM. Tamil Thai song was played at the beginning followed by our college prayer song. Sruthi and Vinothini III B Com hosted the event. Sri Varshini, III B Com student gave the welcome address. Dr. Mu Muthuvelu Former Registrar and Professor of the Central Institute of Classical Tamil Studies spoke about the dimensions of comedy. Humor is embedded even in the smallest words, actions and exchanges among relationships in our daily life. He also talked about comedy found in the literature.
Therefore, his speech was structured in such a way as to arouse the interest of the students so that they can easily engage in humour and get relieved from tension out of day today life.
