Established in 1984, the Department of Hindi under the Self-Finance stream offers Part-I Hindi, fostering language proficiency and cultural awareness. Catering to both Hindi and non-Hindi speakers, it enrolls around 100 students annually.
The curriculum develops reading, writing, and speaking skills through literary works and interactive learning methods like puppet shows, drama, and quizzes. Students engage in seminars, presentations, and assignments, enhancing their academic experience.
Proficiency in Hindi opens career paths in education, media, translation, and public service, preparing students for roles as educators, journalists, scriptwriters, and translators, while also supporting competitive exams and research pursuits.
