Golden Jubilee celebration Department of Maths
A grand Alumni Meet was held at SDNB Vaishnav College for Women,Chromepet on 3rd June 2023, Saturday in the college conference Hall. It was an exciting and memorable day for our Vaishnav family’s history, where the first batch of students of Mathematics Department passed out 50 years ago(1973) gathered for the Golden Jubilee Alumni Celebration.The Principal Dr. R. Geetha, addressed all the Alumni and gave insights about various developments taken place in the College in the recent few years. The meet was very enthusiastic, interactive stimulating and enjoyable wherein the alumnae recalled, cherished and rejuvenated their old college days. They provided their valuable suggestions for the present day students as well as for the college. They also recalled on their experiences and emphasized the need to focus more on Vedic Mathematics, Indian Mathematics and Actuarial Science. The alumni Association sincerely expressed its gratitude to all the alumni for their valuable suggestions, guidance, support and contribution to make this event a grand success.
