The Postgraduate Department of Home Science has offered M.Sc. Home Science – Food Science, Nutrition, and Dietetics since 2018. This two-year program blends theory and practice in food processing, nutrition, and diet planning, covering food safety, probiotics, and sports nutrition while fostering research and problem-solving skills.

With smart classrooms and advanced labs for food testing and therapeutic diet planning, students gain hands-on training in food service management and quality food production. The department enhances learning through workshops, industrial visits, outreach programs, and research projects.

Graduates pursue careers as clinical dietitians, nutritionists, food product designers, researchers, and freelancers, making this program highly relevant in today’s health-conscious world.
