The M.Sc. Plant Biology and Plant Biotechnology Department, established in 2002, provides a strong foundation in plant sciences, integrating biotechnology advancements. The curriculum covers Molecular Biology, Genetic Engineering, Conservation Biology, Tissue Culture, Pharmacognosy, and Bioinformatics.
Equipped with specialized labs, a tissue culture room, and an algal culture room, the department supports research in taxonomy, phytochemistry, and plant physiology. Industry readiness is enhanced through workshops, conferences, and expert interactions.
