B.Sc. Computer Science (Aided)

The Department of Computer Science was established in 1988. This is one of the only two aided colleges offering Computer Science in aided stream under University of Madras. The self-supporting UG program was started in the year 2000 and based on the demand for the course, a second batch was started in 2010, PG program in the year 2001. Courses offered under this department –  B.Sc. Computer Science under aided stream,  B.Sc (Computer Science) and M.Sc. Computer Science under self-financing stream. The department is recognized as a Research department from August 2012. Students are encouraged to apply for Young Research Projects each year which are funded by the college management.
