Q: What is the Alumni Skilling & Placement Program?
A: A college–training partnership offering industry-relevant courses and career support for all SDNB alumnae.

Q: Who can join?
A: All SDNB alumnae: fresh graduates, mid-level professionals, senior leaders, career-break returnees, and retirees.

Q: How many training partners are there?
A: Currently 10 approved training partners specializing in different skills and sectors.

Courses & Curriculum

Q: What kind of courses are offered?
A: Tech & Data (Power BI, Tableau, Python, Generative AI), Business & Marketing (Digital Marketing, E-commerce, SEO), Professional Skills, and Sector Certifications.

Q: How often is the curriculum updated?
A: Training partners update content at least once every 6–12 months to match industry trends.

Q: Can I suggest a new course?
A: Yes. Alumni can propose emerging skill areas; the college will review them with training partners.

Delivery & Scheduling

Q: Are courses batch-based or individual?
A: Both options exist: some run fixed-date cohorts with a minimum batch of 25 students, others are self-paced online modules you can start anytime.

Q: Is there a minimum number of participants required?
A: No. Self-paced courses start immediately. Cohort programs run once minimum enrollment of 25 students is met.

Q: Are classes online or on campus?
A: Most are Offline and few online, with occasional optional on-campus workshops.

Enrollment & Fees

Q: How do I register?
A: Through the SDNB Alumni Skilling Portal. Choose a training partner and course, make payment (if applicable), and receive confirmation.

Q: What is the fee structure?
A: Varies by training partners and course. Group discounts, instalment plans, and CSR-funded scholarships are available.

Q: Can working alumnae choose weekend or evening batches?
A: Yes, most training partners offer flexible timings.

Certification & Recognition

Q: What certificate will I receive?
A: An industry-recognized certificate, co-branded with SDNB and the training partner where applicable.

Q: Is the certificate valid internationally?
A: Many courses follow global standards (e.g., Microsoft, AWS). Check course details for specifics.

Q: Will I have lifetime access to course materials?
A: Yes, recorded content and certificates remain accessible through the training partner’s learning platform.

Placement & Career Support

Q: What kind of placement assistance is provided?
A: Career counselling, résumé building, interview prep, and recruiter connects. Some training partners include guaranteed interview opportunities.

Q: Are internships available?
A: Yes, few selected tracks offer project-based or internship opportunities.

Q: How will success be measured?
A: SDNB tracks completion rates, placement data, and alumni feedback and shares reports with the alumni community.

Data Privacy & Support

Q: Who owns my learning data?
A: Your data remains confidential. SDNB and training partners comply with the India’s DPDP Act and global privacy standards.

Q: Where do I get help if I face issues?
A: A single-point alumni support desk at SDNB coordinates with training partners for all technical or administrative concerns.
