Daan – The Joy of Giving
Giving is not just an act; it is a feeling one that brings immense joy to both the giver and the receiver. At SDNB, this philosophy comes to life through “Daan Utsav,” a week-long celebration of kindness and generosity from October 1 to October 8, 2024.
During this special week, the college came together to make a meaningful impact through various initiatives such as Tree Plantation, Street Play (Say No to Plastics), Joy Fest, Collection Drive, Fistful of Joy, Clean-up Drive, and Menstrual Hygiene Awareness. Each event reflected our deep commitment to the environment, sustainability, and social well-being.
With the wholehearted support of our management, faculty, and students, these initiatives brought smiles to elderly citizens, provided food and support to underprivileged children, extended companionship to the physically challenged, and empowered women with knowledge about menstrual health. Through these heartfelt efforts, students not only embraced compassion and social responsibility but also discovered the true fulfilment that comes from giving back to the community.
Beyond these initiatives, the college continues to stand by its students by offering fee concessions and scholarships to those in need, ensuring that financial challenges never become a barrier to education.
