M.Sc Computer Science (SFS)
The Postgraduate Department of Computer Science began its academic journey in 2001 with the introduction of the M.Sc. (IT) programme under the Self-Supporting stream. In 2014, the curriculum was restructured into the M.Sc. (Computer Science) programme to align with emerging technological trends, and in 2019, the department was elevated to a Research Department with the launch of the M.Phil programme. Since its inception, the department has been committed to delivering quality education through highly qualified faculty, industry collaborations and a forward-looking curriculum. The programme integrates a wide spectrum of advanced areas including Full Stack Development, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Cloud Analytics, Cybersecurity and modern frontiers like Federated Learning, GenAI and Large Language Models.
