About Faculty:
Ms.P.Manjusha,a passionate teacher in the subject Physics, made her to pursue under graduation and post graduation in the year 2007 and 2010 at Madras Christian college. Her passion towards the subject made her to step into the research level in the year 2012, which made her eligible as a teacher. She has qualified herself in state eligibility test for lectureship (SET) in the year 2012. She uses practical methods in her teaching to understand basic concepts and understandings more precisely to the students. She has involved herself in the departmental seminar and conference activities and various college duties every academic year. She also had taken her research to the next level, by enrolling in doctorate program in the specialization field spectroscopy and computational methods using density functional theory in the year 2015 under University of Madras. She has presented papers in various national and international conferences in her research specialization. She has been a part of various college committees in special mention as an admission coordinator and union member during the academic year.

To seek a challenging and motivating career, to utilize the knowledge for the upliftment of students, organization and as well as for myself. I have completed my schooling from St.Joseph’s girls higher secondary school, Trichy. I have completed my undergraduate and postgraduate degree in Physics from Seethalakshmi Ramaswamy College Trichy. I have completed my M.Phil in Physics from Bharathidasan University, Trichy. I have done my Ph.D research in Vibrational spectroscopy and obtained degree from manonanmaniam Sundrananar University, Tirunelveli. I have published 8 papers in international journal among 7 in Elsevier and 1 in journal of mines metals and fuels. I have presented 4 papers in national and international conferences held in various parts of India. I have attended 18 national level throw ball championship held at Delhi, representing Tamilnadu team. I have won zonal, district and divisional level ball badminton tournaments and lead the school team for 5 years.
