Department Highlights
Established in 2003, the Department of Master of Social Work has evolved into a dynamic academic and community-oriented centre, committed to nurturing competent, ethical, and socially responsible professionals. The department offers two major specializations:

Human Resource Management
The programme integrates classroom learning with intensive fieldwork, research exposure, and community engagement to ensure holistic professional development. Students receive hands-on training through village adoption programmes, NGO collaborations, internships, workshops, conferences, and awareness campaigns.
Community Engagement & Village Adoption
As part of its rural outreach and social responsibility initiatives, the department has adopted five villages under the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) scheme, located in:
