The Department of B.Com (Professional Accounting) (Self-Financing Stream) continues to uphold excellence in commerce education by integrating professional expertise, industry expectations, and academic rigor. The curriculum is developed with expert input from Chartered Accountants and industry practitioners, ensuring students gain strong accounting, auditing, taxation, and financial reporting knowledge.

The programme follows ICT-enabled teaching with practical demonstrations, hands-on software training (Tally, ERP, audit simulation tools), industrial visits, case studies, mini audits, and Young Research Projects. Students receive professional guidance through guest lectures, workshops, certificate programmes in GST, Financial Modelling, Auditing, Investment Banking, and Digital Accounting.

The department also supports learners preparing for CA/CMA and ensures strong placement assistance with opportunities in leading organizations such as Deloitte, KPMG, TCS, Sutherland, and reputed audit firms. With modern classrooms, a dedicated computer lab, Wi-Fi, and a comprehensive library, students receive an industry-ready training ecosystem.

A strong alumni network further provides mentoring support and professional pathways, contributing to consistent student outcomes in academics, sports, research, and intercollegiate competitions.
