Established in 1984, the Department of Commerce (SFS) has expanded to meet growing demand with the B. Com General programme enrolling around 800 students by 2024-25. Designed with input from professionals and industrialists, the curriculum ensures academic and industry relevance.

The programme integrates ICT-based teaching methods, along with internships, soft skills training, and guest lectures by industry experts. Students benefit from workshops, webinars, Young Research Projects (YRP), competitions and alumni interactions, fostering holistic growth.
