ACHIEVEMENTS

1. The Department has signed a five-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Emerald Publishers, enabling students to explore and engage with the world of print culture.
2. We partnered with Stella Maris College for a five-day Collaborative Learning Module, broadening students’ engagement with Travel writing, ELT, Children’s Literature and Disability studies.
3. Our flagship event, Athena, serves as a dynamic platform to test LSRW skills while cultivating creativity, critical thinking and performance artistry, thereby enriching both intellectual exchange and cultural celebration.
4. Our students staged Restoration comedies (The Way of the World and The Gentleman Dancing-Master) under Active Collaborative Learning, transforming classical texts into lively, performative encounters.
5. Our annual student magazine Inspiratio flourishes as a vibrant platform to unleash creativity through poetry, prose and visual art.
