French (SFS)

Established in 2019, the Department of French aims to promote global language skills and cross-cultural understanding among students. With the increasing demand for foreign language proficiency, the department plays a vital role in equipping students from various disciplines with strong foundational skills in French, offered as a Part I French for undergraduate students.

The department is staffed by qualified faculty members with expertise in French literature, translation and interpretation, including international teaching experience.
