Report of Synergy – Entrepreneurship Development cell of SDNB Vaishnav College from June 19 to March 2020

1. Inauguration of our ED cell by our Alumni Entrepreneur Mrs. Kamalika Krishmy, Director,Tasty Pallete LLP, Chennai on 18.9.2019

2. Hands on training on making artificial flowers was organized on 20.12.19. An expert Mrs.Venkatalakshmi, Sri Nikitha arts and crafts Vallasaravakkam has trained our students

3. Hands on training in making jute products were organized in Association with Andhra chamber of commerce, Chennai as a skill development programme from 17.02.2020 to 22.2.20 for 20 students.

4. Field visit to Sri Nikitha Arts and Crafts, Vallasaravakkam was organized on 18.12.19 to provide practical exposure for our students regarding Entrepreneurial Activities

2. MIT,Chennai – two faculties Attended a Workshop on IPR- 3.12.2019

6. Online hands on training in making fabric masks was organised during this COVID 19 pandemic and importance of wearing masks was given to our students- 22.5.2020- 110 students attended.

Report of Synergy – Entrepreneurship Development cell of SDNB Vaishnav College from June 2020 to March 2021

1. Online workshop on “Eco Friendly Crafts” was organised on 18.6.2020 and 69 students attended. E certificates were distributed to participants.

2. Hands on training on “Making doormat using reusable clothes” on 29.7.2021and 74 students attended. E certificates were distributed to participants.

3. Hands on training on “Stencils Making and Fabric Printing” on 23.8.2021and 74 students attended. E certificates were distributed to participants.

4. Online workshop on “Social Entrepreneurship, Swachhta and Rural Engagement” on 9.10.2020 and 99 students attended. E certificates were distributed to participants.

5. Online competitions (Quiz, Crossword, Minute to frame, E poster, Pencil drawing, Business idea, Paper presentation) was organized on account of celebrating Global Entrepreneurship week from 16.11.2021 to 22.11.2021 and 356 students participated and E certificates were distributed to winners.

6. Online program on “Implementation of Social Entrepreneurship” on 24.2.2021 and 96 students participated.

7. ED cell staff coordinators has attended 3- Day faculty Development Programme, Programme Monitoring office-Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Programme(PMO-IEDP),EDII ,Govt of Tamilnadu from Jan 20 to Jan 22, 2021

8. ED cell staff coordinator has attended Training of Trainers programme from 8 – 19 February 2021 and its Certified by International Labour Organisation , organized by Entrepreneurship Development and Innovation Institute, Government of Tamilnadu in Association with Madras Institute of Technology, Chrompet, Chennai
