Vaishnav Quiz Club was inaugurated on 3rd October,2018 by Mr. Premkumar Srinivasan, Outreach/Reference Librarian, American Center, U.S Consulate, Chennai. The Chief Guest spoke on reading books, organising monthly quiz- focussing on various subjects, conducting online quiz in the College.

SHOT GUN: GENERAL QUIZ

An Inter-Collegiate Quiz Competition was held on 23rdof January 2019, as a part of SMRTI 2K19. The event was conducted by Mr.VikramRajan, an avid quizzer and a professional quiz master. The competition began around 11.30 a.m. and ended at 1.30 p.m. In all 16 teams from various colleges participated in the preliminary round with two per team, out of which six teams qualified for the finals. The finals had two rounds that included audio visual questions.

The First prize winners were awarded a cash prize of Rs.1500/- each, along with certificates. The Second prize winners were awarded Rs.750/- each with certificates and the Third prize winners were awarded certificates.

Monthly Quiz – 2018-2019

Monthly Quiz was conducted regularly on various topics – general politics, sports, fine-arts (audio/visual),general aptitude etc to the Quiz Club members. Based on the performance the winners were declared. The winners were given away prizes by the Principal on 12th March 2019.

Inter- Departmental Quiz Competition

Inter- Departmental Quiz competition was held on 12th March,2019. Students from various departments participated. Questions were asked on variety of topics – Women achievers, proverbs and idioms, logos, connections etc. Based on the Students’ performance winners were declared. Principal gave away prizes to the winners of both the Inter-Departmental Quiz and the Monthly Quiz. Students had an inter-active session with the Principal and gave feedback about the activities of the Quiz Club.
