1.What is the procedure  for getting any of the semester marksheet that the Student missed to get on the scheduled day?

The student should first check with their department if they have paid all the fees without any pending.

If there is any fee unpaid, the student pay the same and bring the receipt duly signed by the ESRM and collect the marksheet from the COE office.

2.How to get the provisional certificate ?

The student should wait until the provisional certificate is sent by the University (VI sem for UG, IV sem for PG for a max of 4 months) to the college. Once it is received then it will be collected by the students.

3.What is the procedure if the   provisional certificate is delayed,in  case the Student has to submit for joining a job or going abroad or doing higher studies?

The student should clearly mention the reason for seeking  provisional certificate by mail to the COE office after which the student shall be guided for the same.

4. What should be done in case there is a mistake in the marksheet ?

The Student should  mention the type of error through letter / mail to the COE office along with the original marksheet. They will be informed later when to collect the corrected marksheet.( approximately after a week from the date of request). If the mistake is on part of the Student ,the prescribed penalty fee has to be paid for the same.

5. What is the procedure for getting a course completion certificate ?

The student has to approach the college office for getting a course completion certificate.

6. How to get a transcript in case of going to foreign countries ?

The Student has to first make a request by letter / mail to the COE along with  (contact no. and other  details) pay a fee towards processing of the transcript of Rs.1000/ (Rupees thousand only) (per copy) through the online payment link provided to the Student by the COE office. After the submission of fee payment receipt approximately after a week confirming through phone with COE office the Student can collect the same. 

7. How to know the information about Arrear Exam Schedule / Time table ?

The Student can check the college website for knowing the Arrear Exam Schedule / call the COE office.

8. What is the procedure in case the Student is not able to attend exam during the schedule for any reason ?

It will be treated as an Arrear Exam which the Student can write in the next semester.

Note : The inability of the Student to write the exam must be informed in the department.

9. What is the procedure in case the Student was unable to get her degree certificate during the scheduled time and date  ?

The student should bring their original id card along with convocation  and alumni fee receipt and  collect it from the COE office during any of the working days.If the student does not have an ID card the department should authorize the same. 

10. What is the procedure if  Student has discontinued her studies for any genuine reason?

The student for any reason was not able to continue her course  can re-do / re-join based on the eligibility and procedure given by the University of Madras and as prescribed by the COE office.

11. What is the procedure for getting a duplicate marksheet in case of loss or misplacement by the Student?

The Student should make a request letter / mail to COE along with the FIR copy and a penalty fee of Rs.1000.,(for any one semester) and other  prescribed fee for consolidated marksheet.
